For international students If you are an international student, this blog is for you. The process in Rome is that after applying for the residence permit in Postaitaliano, you don’t get the date right away. You have to send them a mail through your university mail stating you need an appointment to give the finger prints in the questura. Example of the email To: immigrazione.segreteria.rm@poliziadistato .it subject: Dear Sir, I would like to get an appointment to submit my finger prints for my Permesso di Soggiorno. Thank you. (Attach the document that was given to you after you submitted your documents in Postaitaliano. It consists of 3 papers.) You will get reply within 1-3 days.
